Sudagar bids farewell to Davao City Council

Councilor Bai Halila Sudagar formally vacated her post as a councilor during the regular session of the City Council on Tuesday, April 10, after the Certificate of Affirmation (COA) from the National Commission on Indigenous People expired last March 30.

Barangay Captain Carmelo Clarion of Mulig, Toril formally assumed the vacant third district councilor seat on Monday, April 9, and vowed to address the needs of barangays such as potable water supply among others.

Coca-Cola workers’ struggle continues

Members of Kilusang Manggagawa ng Coca-Cola (KIMACO KMU) staged another protest action on Monday, April 9, to call for the reinstatement of 65 workers who were dismissed last month and the regularization of all contractual workers under Coca-Cola FEMSA Davao.
