The Integrated Gender and Development Division of the city mayor’s office recorded 40 maternal deaths last year particularly in Barangay 23-C this city.

Green group wants DENR to ban arsenic in wood treatment

The EcoWaste Coalition urged Monday the Department of Environment and Natural Resources to permanently ban the use of arsenic, a known carcinogen, for the treatment and preservation of wood.
