UP announces no tuition collection for 1st semester

The University of the Philippines system announced that it will not be collecting tuition from its students for the first semester of its academic year 2017 - 2018, regardless of financial status.

There were as many as 7,000 tuberculosis cases recorded in the Davao Region ?in the first two quarters of the year, a health official said?, describing it as already half the number recorded last year.?
