The Alliance of Concerned Teachers is expecting massive dropouts and problems in class shortages, learning facilities on the opening of classes on Monday, June 13, wherein the Department of Education is also set to welcome the first batch of the Grade 11 students nationwide.
The City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) will add calming devices near schools to avoid accidents in preparation for the opening of classes next week.
With an estimate of 700 senior high school students enrolled in city high, there will be 17 sections with around 45-50 students in each.
The Open Hand School for Applied Arts (OHSAA), a school which provides "an innovative and safe learning community for young adults with special needs" had its house blessing and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, June 7.
?The Department of Education?said the Davao Region is “150 percent ready” in terms of the 298 schools which will start the senior high school leg on June 13.
