Good feelings gone: Power interruptions back after Kadayawan
After the merrymaking during the Kadayawan Festival, power interruptions in the city are back this week until the end of the month, Davao Light announced Wednesday.
DSWD delists 68,000 from 4Ps beneficiaries
An official of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Administration said they have delisted around 68,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) as of January this year due to various reasons.
Good news: Power supply improves
The Davao Light and Power Company today said it will now discontinue the scheduling of rotating power interruptions as the power supply situation improved within its franchise starting Wednesday in time for the Kadayawan Festival.
DLPC: No lifting yet of power interruptions
Davao Light and Power Corporation (DLPC) is still not lifting its implementation of 3 to 4 hours power interruptions during peak periods and an hour during off peak due to the continuing Preventive Maintenance Servicing of a unit of STEAG until August 16.
City to hire sanitary inspectors, nurses to safeguard public health
More sanitary inspectors and nurses will be hired to monitor commercial food here.
