Authorities on Tuesday said they are investigating if a group of armed men who engaged the police in a shootout that killed two persons including a law enforcer in a Misamis Oriental town Monday night is involved in criminal activities.

Green group hopes final reshipment of Korean trash will bring closure to waste trafficking in PH

Environmental group EcoWaste Coalition has expressed optimism that the last two batches of imported trash from South Korea expected to be reshipped on Sunday (Feb. 16) and on Feb. 23 will be the last trafficked wastes from another country that will be dumped into the Philippines.
