Human rights advocates and lawyers welcomed the recent statement by United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet expressing concern on the human rights situation in the Philippines and a need for an independent probe on extrajudicial killings.

Jeepney drivers asked to claim “pantawid pasada” cards

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board in Davao Region (LTFRB-XI) called on jeepney operators to claim their Pantawid Pasada Program (PPP) cash cards for 2018 before they close it for the 2019 PPP cash cards.
