dictatorship, four veteran alternative and folk musicians who gave
voice to the nationwide resistance against tyranny will perform on the
same stage and sing forgotten yet relevant songs of protest.

Santiago ? will lead performers in Bayan Muna’s miting de avance

MANILA — Some 100 people attended the People’s Forum workshop on water privatization and struggles in Asia organized by Jubilee South-APMDD, together with PSI, NGO Forum and AMNET ? Japan. In the workshop, labor unions and water campaigners from civil society presented their critique on the ADB water privatization agenda and their struggles for water justice.

Kalahi, the group of Karlo Nograles, the son of Davao City Rep. Prospero Nograles, has been accused of allegedly using Lumads to discredit Anakpawis and its allied partylist groups, calling these groups, as well Jeppie Ramada, who is running for councilor of the third district under Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s party, of being communists.
