5 injured due to 5.4-magnitude quake in Lanao del Sur, Bukidnon

The 5.4-magnitude quake that struck Wao town in Lanao del Sur province on Sunday morning caused 5 cases of minor injuries, totally damaged 4 buildings and partially damaged about 100 houses, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) reported.

Siargao surfing, water sports gain support from DOT

As Cloud 9 in Barangay Catangnan accommodated more than 7,000 visitors for the official opening of the 23rd International Siargao Surfing Cup with 116 foreign players and 8 Filipino surfers on Saturday, September 23, a top tourism official reiterated the agency’s continuing commitment to support the water sports and other tourism activities in the island.
