More than 300 Davao residents evacuate due to flooding

Continuous heavy rains hit Davao city starting at around middle of the afternoon on Monday, caused water levels of the river to rise at two populated barangays of the city's first district, Matina Crossing and Matina Pangi.

Duterte’s stance on longer maternity leave lauded

"There is a need for longer maternity leave because we are not born mothers. We become mothers. It takes time to adjust to our roles, get to know our body and our baby," said LATCH Davao founding member Alex Hao.
