Lapanday, farmers to hold dialogue over land dispute today
The Lapanday Foods Corporation and the agrarian reform beneficiaries who are occupying some 145-hectares of lands in Barangay Madaum here will be meeting in a dialogue on Monday, Dec. 19.
Lapanday: 15 hectares of bananas chopped by farmers cost $120K
Lapanday Foods Corporation said the total amount of damages incurred after protesting farmers chopped down some 2,000 banana crops amounts to $120,000.

Cheaper way to treat septic water introduced
Scientists here introduced a chemical that would “clean” the septic tank and curb water pollution.

Probe on shooting of Tagum farmers ordered
Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael Mariano ordered Tuesday its regional and provincial officials to probe the shooting of farmer-beneficiaries in Madaum, Tagum City.
