Woman leader scores Davao’s ‘macho’ culture

Even with the passage of a landmark ordinance that promotes and advances women's rights, the city still has long way to go to end the "macho culture", a woman leader here said.

The streets here on Wednesday, June 1 turned colorful as the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) community, wearing their signature rainbow colors, marched for the first gay pride street parade in the city.
