During the regular session of the city council, Col. Erwin Bernard Neri presented the security plans of the Task Force here to local officials, more than a week after the bombing killed at least 15 people and wounded 69 others at the night market in Roxas Avenue. Neri assumed the command on Thursday, September 8.
A pregnant woman who was among the injured in the Davao bombing died Monday, evening.
Ironically, one of the suspect?s in the bombing here covered his face with a mask bearing a peace sign, police authorities said Wednesday, September 7.
Davao City Police Office spokesperson Senior Inspector Catherine Dela Rey said this is the fifth school to receive a bomb scare this week.
The assistance would be given on Tuesday. Each family of the 14 fatalities will receive P40,000, while the 70 injured will be given P30,000 each.
