New BBL draft to be turned over to Duterte on July 17

Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza announced Tuesday that the draft of the new Bangsamoro Basic Law will finally be submitted to President Rodrigo Duterte on July 17, seven days before the State of the Nation Address and a day earlier that was previously set by the Palace.

Davao City Council approves anti-unattended bag law

The city's 18th council passed on the third and final reading on Tuesday, July 11, an ordinance prohibiting and punishing the act of leaving bags unattended in public places.
