Reds to release 6 prisoners of war for resumption of talks

As a gesture of support on the resumption of peace talks, the National Democratic Front in Mindanao announced Thursday the slated released of the six prisoners of wars who were held captive by the New People’s Army.

Bayan tells Palace ‘don’t miss the real lessons of EDSA’

Progressive group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan has no problem if Malacañang opted to have a simple commemoration of the EDSA People Power uprising this year. But it warned the administration of “muting” the lessons of the struggle against the dictatorship.

China donates $600K to Davao City for classrooms, water facilities

The government of the People's Republic of China donated Tuesday a total of $600,000 (P30,211,800 million) to the local government of Davao City.
