Some 100 Filipino exporters and other stakeholders will gather in a hotel in Davao City on January 22 to explore ways on tapping the European Union (EU) market. The activity is part of the Doing Business in Free Trade Areas (DBFTA) program of the Department of Trade Industry-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB).
According to DTI-Davao Region officer-in-charge Maria Belenda Q. Ambi, “the information session is definitely an avenue for the exporters to learn about the opportunities and benefits of the EU Generalized Scheme of Preferences Plus.”
Trade Assistant Secretary for Industry Development and Trade Policy Ceferino S. Rodolfo is the main speaker in the gathering.
