The Filipino Solidarity with the Peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean (La Solidaridad) welcomed the just concluded 3rd Summit of the heads of state and government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
According to La Solidaridad “the Summit and its 94-point Political Declaration of Belen is a testament to the further consolidation of peoples’ solidarity in the region.”
“It committed to eradicate poverty and inequality in the region as it calls to end U.S. meddling in member countries,” the group said.
The group believes that the summit’s success “serves as an inspiration” to Filipinos.
