Philippine National Police officer-in-charge said the investigation of the Board of Inquiry (BOI) tasked to probe the deadly Mamasapano clash between the country’s elite cops and Moro fighters would take a month.
Deputy Director General Leonardo Espina said they want to ensure that they will get the truth and not only hearsays.
The BOI will also be inviting suspended PNP chief General Alan Purisima who reportedly gave orders on the botched operation of the PNP Special Action Force last January 25.
