Feb. 07, 2015

DAVAO CITY – A Japanese national complained to the police that he lost P223,000 from his bank account, accusing a Filipino-Japanese companion of the theft.

The man identified himself as Masashi Orikasa, 68, from Tokyo, Japan and who was staying here with a Filipino-Japanese companion named Pepito Yasuji, 38.
Orikasa told police that P223,000 pesos was withdrawn from his BDO account via ATM without his knowledge and permission.

He said that Yasuji, who was staying with him in his apartment, could be the only person responsible of the unauthorized withdrawal.

He said Yasuji left for Orisaka on Tuesday without informing him why or where and leaving no contact number.
