A truck carrying logs of Gemilina variety was put to fire in Talaingod, Davao Del Norte on Monday.
Police Senior Inspector Michael Angelo Yap, chief of poice of Talaingod, said the driver of the truck, identified as Mike Nino, 28 year old, reported that the truck was parked in Purok 7, Sitio Lumabag, Brgy. Palma Gil due to machine malfunction. Nino said two men appeared and identified themselves as members of New People’s Army’s Front Committee 55.
Nino was with one Teddy Dela Cruz when the incident happened. The said truck was reportedly owned by Casquejo family. Police are still investigating the cost of the damage.
