Forum on Bangsamoro history

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines will hold a forum on the Bangsamoro history on Friday hoping to contribute to the better appreciation of the history of the Bangsamoro amid the deliberations on the Bangsamoro Basic Law in Congress.

The forum dubbed, “A Forum on the Bangsamoro in National History”, will be held at the NHCP building T.M. Kalaw Street, Ermita, Manila, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Topics include Early Muslim Filipinos and the Onset of Colonization, Muslim Filipinos Reaction to Spanish Colonization, Muslim Filipinos and the Making of a Nation and Muslim Filipinos in Contemporary Times.

The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine history and heritage through research and publication, conservation, marking of historic sites and structures, and the administration of national shrines and landmarks.
