DAVAO CITY – A man was stabbed by a drunk man while the victim was asleep at a billiard hall situated along Bankerohan Public Market here.
The witness, Allan Mariam Mangondato, 26, resident of Bankerohan, Barangay 5-A, said that it was around 1:45 AM, Friday when the suspect broke an empty bottle of Tanduay Rhum and immediately stabbed the left hand of the victim, while he was asleep.
The suspect was identified Alberto Fernandez Cordero Jr., 60 years old and a resident of Madapo Hills, while the victim is Celso Dagbay Ladica, 40 years old, married and a resident of Barangay Tapao in Paquibato District, Davao City.
Ladica was immediately rushed to the Southern Philippine Medical Center by the barangay functionaries after the incident.
The police officers of Bankerohan Police Outpost has arrested the suspect who is now under investigation. (davaotoday.com)
