One of the subsidiaries of the biggest bus conglomerate in the country has re-elected its chairman and president.
The SEC national office has recently issued a cease-and-desist order against KAPA and its subsidiaries “after finding substantial evidence that it has been offering and selling securities in the form of investment contracts without the necessary license.”

A local court has ordered the arrest of top officials of Kapa-Community Ministry International (Kapa), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said Wednesday (Feb. 12).

Camiguin temporarily bans tourists amid nCoV threat
After the Camiguin provincial government required local and foreign tourists to disclose their travel history before they are allowed to enter the island-province, it has now temporarily restricted the entry of visitors who have been to China and other countries hit by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Tesda, gov’t agencies team up with bus firm for drivers’ professionalization
As part of the initiative to professionalize thousands of its drivers, a conglomerate of bus companies teamed up with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in Region 10 (Tesda-10) and other agencies for a series of enhancement trainings slated throughout the year.
