Envi group urges Marcos to enforce law vs waste importation

An environment group has urged President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. to institute essential measures to protect the nation’s interest from global waste and prevent other countries from dumping their garbage in the Philippines.

Green groups’ silent protest in city council confronted by police

A commotion between environmental groups and the police happened during the former's silent protest held in front of the Sangguniang Panglunsod building on Tuesday, as leaders were almost arrested.

A few days after President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his final state of the nation address, environmental group EcoWaste Coalition looked back on the achievements and failures of the government on environmental issues during his presidency as he steps down from office a few months from now.
