Lumad women petition to defend the Pantaron Mountain Range

Women from Lumad group Sabokahan trooped to the regional offices of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) on Friday (Aug. 23) to file a petition to defend the Pantaron Mountain Range and other ancestral lands from threats of mining and other "development" projects.

Hundreds of millions of infra, agri products lost in Lanao del Norte due to TD Falcon

Hundreds of millions of pesos worth of agricultural crops, structures, and properties were damaged in at least five towns in Lanao del Norte when Tropical Depression Falcon swept through Northern Mindanao on July 16, reports from the Office of Civil Defense-10 (OCD-10) and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PDRRMO) reported Wednesday, July 31.
