Operations to clear the Diversion Road here from mud and debris flow due to a landslide that struck at dawn on Friday, October 6, have passed City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio's 48-hour deadline. The city government at 5pm Sunday released an advisory that the Diversion Road will remain closed on Monday, October 9, "because the portion of Shrine Hills where the landslide occured has not been declared safe for passage by the engineers due to the clearing operations."
