A big portion of the Davao River is contaminated with the coliform bacteria, the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 11 said.

MGB sees lapses in occupational standard causing death of miners in Mt. Diwata

Engineers of regional office of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) said there could be lapses in the implementation of occupational safety standards that caused the mines tunnel tragedy in Mt. Diwata, Monkayo, Compostela Valley.

Councilors accept Duterte’s veto on green space provision

A non-government organization said they received reports that at least 40 people were killed during the mining tragedy in Barangay Mt. Diwata, Monkayo town Compostela Valley on Sunday, February 28.
