Criticism came in fast and furious against President Benigno Aquino III few minutes after reporters questioned him as to who gave the go-signal for the Sunday’s operation of the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP SAF) in Mamasapano, Maguindanao that killed 44 cops.
The Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighter claimed it suffered two casualties during the early dawn Sunday’s clash with PNP-SAF at Barangay Tukanalipao, Mamasapano town in Maguindanao.
A bomb prematurely went off Tuesday night near a convenient store at Barangay Poblacion, Pikit town, North Cotabato apparently killing the two alleged bombers carrying the explosives while onboard a motorcycle, a military spokesperson said.
Some 174 families comprising of 914 individuals, 50 of whom are sick, are currently housed in an evacuation center in Barangay Balit, San Luis, Agusan Sur after they were displaced due to military operations.
