PICKING-UP THE PIECES

Residents pick-up materials they can use to repair their homes after a big fire engulfed around 3000 houses in Barangays 23-C, 21 and 22 in Davao City Friday night. A total of 2,245 families were affected and are temporarily staying at nearby schools, according to the City Social Services and Development Office.

MNLF-Sema faction urges gov’t to resolve issues of GPH-MNLF 1996 peace accord

A Moro National Liberation Front faction has urged Malacañang to resolve the three remaining issues on territory, provisional government and definition and sharing of revenues of strategic minerals to complete the government commitment to pass an amended law to implement the final peace agreement they reached in 1996.
