Region XI’s COVID-19 cases breach 4,000 mark; Davao City with highest active cases

The Department of Health in the region (DOH-11) has reported 561 new cases of COVID-19 from October 17-23, bringing the total number of cases to 4,474. The center said that 1,012 of these are active cases.

The drill began on 10am of October 14. Twenty-five “persons disguised as terrorists” were scattered across 200 establishments in the city. The public and personnel of establishments were briefed earlier to spot the “suspects”, all identically dressed, and report to a mobile number.
