More than 50 Bukidnon farmers ‘rescued’ in Tarlac hacienda on the way home

A partylist lawmaker said 53 farmers from Bukidnon who were rescued in Hacienda Luisita are now on their way home.

Lawmaker to probe on abuses vs Bukidnon farmers recruited in Hacienda Luisita

Anakpawis Representative Ariel Casilao is set to file a house resolution to investigate the alleged abuses against farmers from Bukidnon province recruited to work in Hacienda Luisita.

On New Year’s eve, Tagum farmers forcibly evicted from disputed land

The cease and desist order issued by the Department of Agrarian Reform recently did not prevent plantation guards of Lapanday Food Corporations, Inc. from evicting farmers occupying the contested San Isidro farm area inside the Hijo plantation in Barangay Madaum in Tagum City on New Year's eve.
