New projects for Filipino workers abroad launched

As a pilot initiative, International Labor Organization (ILO) works closely with the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) to develop the Migrant Recruitment Advisor (MRA), and Migrant Forum in Asia (MFA) to develop the Migrant Rights Violation Reporting System, also known as HAMSA.

Gov’t agencies eye unified move vs abuse of OFW children in Davao region

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) for a unified fight against the abuse of children who are left behind by Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Davao City and the region.
