New York City & Los Angeles?In nationally-coordinated events in California and New York last April 28, 29 and May 4, over 350 Filipino youth gathered to show unwavering support for KABATAAN Partylist, the leading and only partylist representing the youth sector in the upcoming elections in the Philippines. Using rock and acoustic music, hip hop, poetry, and shadow theater, Filipino youth used their creativity to show how their local issues are connected with the issues of youth in the Philippines addressed by the KABATAAN Partylist.

Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno today urged the Regional Trial Court (RTC) judges who will handle cases involving killings of political activists and media members to always uphold the most fundamental of all rights ? the right to life ? as they dispense their roles as ?special court? judges.

Military terrorizing voters a week before polls
MANILA — The umbrella group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan, New Patriotic Alliance) today slammed the Armed Forces of the Philippines for the harassment of Bayan Muna representative Teddy Casi?o and Anakpawis Leyte leader Bebot Borja just after their group finished their motorcade in the Ormoc City yesterday.
