MANILA — week after GMA-7 news revealed the existence of what appeared to be Palace directives on extrajudicial killings of activists, the umbrella group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan called on the Arroyo government to make a full public disclosure of the controversial ?Operation Bluetooth? and other similar issuances that may have come from top cabinet and military officials.

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) is shocked and outraged by the murder of yet another journalist in the Philippines, bringing the death toll to 53 journalists murdered under the administration of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has received information about the brutal torture of two men, both belong to Muslim minorities, following their arrest by soldiers over allegations they are involved in incidents of bombing in Central Mindanao.
