Siyam (9) ka mga CAFGU ug usa ka Detachment Commander nga si 1st Sgt. ROMEO EUPHEMIA, ang nag-duty. Nasakmit ang tanang armas ug napatay si 1st Sgt. Euphemia, samtang ang mga CAFGU gipanggapos sa gituohang mga miyembro sa New People?s Army (NPA).
Pagka buntag Hulyo 27, 2007 sa may alas 7:00, dunay duha (2) ka MG 520 nga naglupad-lupad ug nagtuyok-tuyok sa komunidad sa Lawan-Lawan. Halos duha (2) ka oras kini nga nagtuyok-tuyok.

Mindanao rural, coop banks have lowest non-performing loans

DAVAO CITY — Rural and cooperative banks (R/CBs) in Mindanao have the lowest non-performing loans NPL) as of the first quarter of 2007.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported that the Mindanao R/CBs posted a 9.03 percent ratio although a slight increase was noted from last quarter?s 8.9 percent.

Palace paving way for Misuari’s Jeddah trip

Malacanang assured today the Saudi Arabian government that Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari shall be provided with unarmed security personnel during his trip to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to attend the three-party peace talks among representatives of the Philippines, the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and the MILF.
