NPA asserts wounded NPA commander protected under IHL

The New People’s Army slammed the Armed Forces of the Philippines for serving arrest warrants against hospitalized NPA leader Zalde Cañete saying he is a “hors de combat,” a person protected under the international humanitarian law.

Over 300,000 candidates vie in Davao’s barangay, SK Elections

Voters will choose from among a total of 334,716 candidates in today’s barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections in Davao City.

PH-Kuwait ties back to normal, Palace says
