AFP blamed for death of 5 Cafgus in Agusan del Norte

Niadtong Hunyo 26, 2007 sa may alas 12:00 sa hatungang gabi-i kapin kun kulang, nahitabo ang pag-raid sa usa ka detachment sa Lawan-Lawan, Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte. Siyam (9) ka mga CAFGU ug usa ka Detachment Commander nga si 1st Sgt. ROMEO EUPHEMIA, ang nag-duty. Nasakmit ang tanang armas ug napatay si 1st Sgt. Euphemia, samtang ang mga CAFGU gipanggapos sa gituohang mga miyembro sa New People?s Army (NPA).
Pagka buntag Hulyo 27, 2007 sa may alas 7:00, dunay duha (2) ka MG 520 nga naglupad-lupad ug nagtuyok-tuyok sa komunidad sa Lawan-Lawan. Halos duha (2) ka oras kini nga nagtuyok-tuyok.

Braga wants e-jeepneys in Davao

In a privilege speech, Councilor Pilar Braga touted the 12-seater electric vehicle "as the next Philippine transport icon." The e-jeepneys, she said, "are aimed to demonstrate that there are climate-friendly alternatives to the current polluting modes of public transportation in the Philippines. Aside from its non-pollutive effect, it is also very economical and very good for the owners and drivers as it will increase their income compared to the use of diesel/gas."
