The University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao has proposed a diagnostic program on free testing for COVID-19, stressing the importance of increasing the testing capacity in Davao Region to contain the spread of the disease.

Stricter border check in Bukidnon as enhanced community quarantine begins

The enhanced community quarantine in Bukidnon has led to closing its road borders to non-residents, as a measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) since starting Saturday (March 21) as ordered by Governor Jose Maria Zubiri.

Quarantine with no testing “useless, testing our patience”, says labor group

The government's response to the Covid-19 outbreak, from community quarantine to its budget prioritizing less on test kits, has drawn response from the labor group Kilusang Mayo Uno.
