Gov’t, NDF want human rights agenda included in high school curriculum

One of the plans of the Joint Monitoring Committee of both the government and the National Democratic Front is to propose the inclusion of the CARHRIHL or the comprehensive agreement on the respect for human rights and the International Humanitarian Law in the curriculum of the Department of Education.

Church group lauds Norwegian gov’t for hosting GRP-NDF peace talks

The Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform, a network of five major religious groups in the country, lauded on Tuesday the Royal Norwegian Government for facilitating the second round of peace talks between the Government of the Philippines and the National Democratic Front.
