Sowing the Seeds of Peace opposes the declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao. Martial Law throws out the headways in the peace processes between the Philippine government, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the Moro National Liberation Front, and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines.

KMP condemns Martial Law declaration in Mindanao

Peasant group Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas said declaring martial law in Mindanao, the second biggest island and the home to one-fourth of the country’s population will only put innocent civilians at risk of state perpetrated human rights violations.
