1.3M elderlies to enjoy P6,000 yearly pension

The government’s social pension program for indigent senior citizens this year has increased by P3 billion, which will increase the numbers of beneficiaries by almost half a million.

Lawmaker wants to declare Aliwagwag Falls as ‘protected area’

The lawmaker said the declaration of the Aliwagwag Falls as a protected area shall shield it from exploitation, sustain its ecological stability and preserve it for future generation.

Solon challenges presidential candidates to end poverty

As the elections come near, the group said the next president should “realize a national democratic policy for the country, to be kicked off by genuine agrarian reform and national industrialization.”
