DAVAO CITY – The local government here says big rave parties for the Kadayawan Festival is welcomed to give variation to the festivities.
Lisette Marques, officer in charge of City Tourism Office said that they are encouraging the private sector to mount these events.
Two major electronic dance music events will be held in the city. One is by Arcadia Electronic Music Festival on August 22 at the 26-hectare D’ Leonor Resort in Barangay Communal.
On August 21, party organizer Spectrum is partnering with Mati City-based party organizer Frolicfox to bring Kadayawan Invasion 2015 at the Crocodile Park Grounds. The event will feature disc jockeys from Australia and Norway along with selected local DJs.
Marques said that another rave party is being organized which will be held at the Matina I.T. Park. (davaotoday.com)
