Davao suspends free swab tests for airport passengers

The free Real-Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (RT-PCR) for arriving passengers at Davao International Airport (DIA) has been temporarily suspended by the Davao City Government as it redirects its resources to address the rising number of local transmission after the holiday season.

Individuals, businesses will be penalized for violating COVID-19 protocols

The Davao City Council has passed an ordinance that will impose fines and penalties for persons or establishments caught not observing physical distancing and other health protocols during this COVID-19 pandemic.
