Today’s View: Liar Dream

Liar, because the speaker is an incorrigible liar and the promises are lies.  Dream, because the people are made to hope and expect “a kingdom come” or “a state of better living” or “a more comfortable life,” or at least a more “humane earthly existence.”  Which never ever comes.  Not today, not tomorrow, not until the end of time!

Teachers, non-teaching staff poised to strike vs. Davao Catholic college

“Our notice has already expired and we will conduct the strike anytime if the NCMB fails to mediate,” Mendoza said.  He added they postponed the strike because they have entered into mediations with the NCMB, the latest of which was 2 PM on Wednesday.  Mendoza noted that so far, no conciliation agreement was inked.
