Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte hands out 10 thousand pesos, as financial assistance, to wounded soldier Joseph Zamora of the 66th Infantry Battalion-Philippine Army. Zamora, 32, and five others were wounded on a March 1 ambush by the New People’s Army in sitio Havanna, Catigan, Toril, where three soldiers were killed. Duterte, who visits the soldiers at the Davao Medical Center on Monday, March 3, also gave out 20 thousand pesos in aid to the families of each soldier killed in battle.
