Residents in Sta. Josefa, Agsur badly affected by Pablo; need immediate help

DEPALA/Correspondent Davao Today “We need assistance for the reconstruction of houses.  We also need sacks of rice, clothes and medicines.  As of today, we only mustered 300 sacks of rice which we divided in the 11 villages.  We were only able to distribute foods good for one day.  We’re still awaiting help from the provincial government,” Sta. Josefa Vice Mayor Simon Caguiat said.

300 families displaced; militants, evacuees call for military pull-out in Magpet

FUSILERO Davao Today On Wednesday, Katribu, Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas, Kabataan Party-list, women’s organization Gabriela and Mapa  community leaders representing the evacuees joined together to stage a  picket-rally in front of the municipal hall of Magpet and called for the  immediate pull-out of all military troops in the municipality.
