MANILA — As part of its ongoing and dynamic dialogue with the Philippine Government on issues of human rights, rule of law, and law enforcement, the U.S. Embassy recently organized a seven-day seminar for investigators and prosecutors working on cases of suspected unlawful killings.
MANILA — The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Mindanao State University-Maguindanao (MSU-Maguindanao) recently signed an agreement to implement pilot productivity enhancement projects in the Liguasan Marsh River basin. The project is part of NEDA’s Productivity Enhancement Program under the RP-Japan Grant Assistance for Underpriviledged Farmers formerly known as the KR2 Grant.

MANILA — Task Force Poll Watch, an anti-fraud and monitoring group formed by partylist groups, reported this morning massive vote-shaving in at least 10 provinces, resulting in 73 percent loss of votes for Bayan Muna, Anakpawis, Gabriela, Kabataan and Genuine Opposition senatorial candidate Loren Legarda.
