There is a larger table outside. These are the People’s Peace Tables. These are the tables where people’s voices can and will be heard and taken seriously. People’s participation is key to help make peace, and more importantly, to make peace last. OPAPP is committed to putting up those tables.

A clip from Baboy Halas: Wailings in the Forest by Mindanaoan director Bagane Fiola. The film which was shot in the Maharlika forest of Marilog district won the NETPAC Jury Prize at the recently-concluded QCinema International Film Festival. It will be the second opening film of the 4th edition of Salamindanaw Asian Film Festival on Nov. 7.

Salamindanaw 2016 to showcase films on Lumad, seafarers

Salamindanaw Asian Film Festival will open its fourth edition with two films that tackle the plights of the lumad (indigenous people) and Filipino seafarers on November 7 in the city of General Santos.

Erwin Alparaque, chief of Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), said there are complaints about fixers offering fast processing of documents and transactions for a fee at the City Hall's frontline offices.
