‘Guerrilla Filmathon’ all set for 80th Araw ng Dabaw celeb

A film making competition where participants are tasked to complete a short film in 24 hours with "race-style challenges and obstacles" will be one of the activities for this year's Araw ng Dabaw celebration, organizers announced in a press briefing here Monday.

Davao artists paint children in violence-free murals

Some 60 artists here began painting the walls outside the Southern Philippines Medical Center - Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine with images of what they described as the "ideal trafficking-free environment for children.”
