Classes suspended in ComVal, DavNor due to Tropical Depression Queenie; Davao on alert status

TD Queenie to make landfall in Surigao del Sur; 19 areas placed under Signal No. 1

The state weather bureau PAG-ASA on Wednesday said that Tropical Depression Quennie is expected to make landfall over Surigao del Sur this afternoon and it will traverse the Northern Mindanao area by Wednesday evening.

Housing for Typhoon Pablo survivors still 15,000 units short

The National Housing Authority (NHA) Davao Region admitted it is short of 13,525 housing units that it was supposed to complete by March next year for the survivors of Typhoon Pablo.
